Overview

By Article 6 of the February 2019 Special Town Meeting, the Town voted to establish a School Building Committee for the purpose of planning the construction, alteration, renovation, remodeling, and furnishing of school buildings and authorized the Moderator to appoint nine members to serve on the committee, two of whom shall be members of the School Committee and two of whom shall be members of the Select Board or its designees.

At Article 6 of the February 2025 Special Town Meeting, the Town voted to amend the School Building Committee membership by adding several non-voting positions, ex officio, to align the School Building Committee membership with the requirements of the Massachusetts School Building Committee.
